“The Cowgirl” Window Mural

Working with PARK, who teamed up with the Canadian Country Music Association, I created a colourful celebration of the CCMA Country Music Week in Calgary from September 8-11, 2022. This mural was designed digitally for approval by the CCMA’s. It was then painted by hand on three panels of a window at The District in Beltline.

Take a trip into the Canadian country! This mural uses bold colours, and features a cowgirl riding through Canada's vast terrain. With elements that remind us of Canadian country music and Canadian terrain working together to illuminate the feel and style of Canadian country, this mural evokes the energy and emotion which is ignited by the music. Canada's country music scene radiates warm feelings which are represented by the bright pinks, oranges, and yellows. This is a celebration of Canada's country music scene and for an event which brings people together.
